The Core at Phenix City Amphitheater

July 17, 2026 · Phenix City, AL

The Core took the stage at Phenix City Amphitheater on July 17, 2026, for their first show in Phenix City and their inaugural performance at the venue. The six-piece band drew from the jam-band and roots-rock songbook, moving through covers including "Chilly Water" from Widespread Panic, "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong" by Spin Doctors, "What Would You Say" by Dave Matthews Band, "One Headlight" from The Wallflowers, "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed" by The Allman Brothers Band, and "Remedy" by The Black Crowes. "When It's Raining," a Samples cover, marked their 25th performance of that song, and Neal Lucas joined the band as a guest for the evening's 13-song set.
