The Core at The Society Garden
August 24, 2024 · Macon, GA
The Core returned to The Society Garden in Macon for their fourth appearance at the venue, their first since May 2024. The twenty-one-song set drew from across the jam and rock tradition, opening with "Broken Hearted Savior" and moving through "Travelin' Light", "How Could You Want Him (When You Know You Could Have Me?)", and "When It's Raining" before building toward classics like "Remedy", "Possum", and "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed". The band closed with "Working on the Building", capping an evening that spanned material from The Allman Brothers Band, Phish, Dave Matthews Band, Widespread Panic, and beyond.
