Tribute: A Celebration of The Allman Brothers Band at Northside Tavern

August 10, 2024 · Atlanta, GA

Tribute: A Celebration of The Allman Brothers Band played the Northside Tavern in Atlanta on August 10, 2024, running through thirty songs across the evening. The set drew from the band's deep catalog, moving through "Don't Keep Me Wonderin'", "Must've Done Somebody Wrong", and "Trouble No More" early before reaching "Blue Sky", "Jessica", and "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed" deeper in the night. David Fisch joined the band for the show, and "Walk On Gilded Splinters" marked the first time the group had played the Dr. John number, a solid addition to their repertoire. The night wrapped with "Whipping Post" after an extended run that included blues covers and road-tested Allman Brothers material such as "Midnight Rider", "Melissa", and "Southbound".
