Tribute: A Celebration of The Allman Brothers Band at Northside Tavern

May 13, 2023 · Atlanta, GA

Tribute: A Celebration of The Allman Brothers Band took the stage at Northside Tavern in Atlanta on May 13, 2023, just a day after their previous appearance at the venue. The band moved through 28 songs drawing from the Allman Brothers catalog, opening with "Hoochie Coochie Man" and threading through deep cuts like "Don't Keep Me Wonderin'" and "Come and Go Blues" alongside well-known pieces such as "Midnight Rider," "Jessica," and "Whipping Post." The setlist ranged across blues standards the band had made their own, from "Statesboro Blues" to "Trouble No More," and closed with the driving closer "Whipping Post," delivering a substantial night of material rooted in the band's southern rock and blues foundation.
