The Core at From The Earth
May 11, 2023 · Roswell, GA
The Core played their first show at From The Earth in Roswell on May 11, 2023, and their first performance in the city. The fifteen-song set drew from jam-band touchstones and classic rock standards, including "Take the Time" (The Freddy Jones Band), "Jimi Thing" (Dave Matthews Band), "Pleas" (Widespread Panic), and three Allman Brothers cuts: "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed", "Southbound", and "Melissa". The evening marked the band's debut performances of both "Southbound" and "Melissa", expanding their repertoire with material from one of their primary influences.
