April 16, 2023 · Athens Beer Fest · Athens, GA

Tribute: A Celebration of The Allman Brothers Band took the stage at The Classic Center in Athens as part of the Athens Beer Fest on April 16, 2023, with Oliver Nichols, Rod Gunther, Grant Reynolds, Henry Davis, Mark Bishop, Brad Berry, John Marsten, and Bill Taylor performing a 19-song set drawn from the Allman Brothers catalog and its influences. The band moved through material spanning "Good Clean Fun", "Revival", and "Southbound" before reaching deeper cuts like "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed" and "Ain't Wastin' Time No More", closing with "Whipping Post". The setlist drew on blues standards and covers the Allman Brothers championed, including "Statesboro Blues", originally by Blind Willie McTell, and "Trouble No More", written by Muddy Waters.
