March 16, 2023 · Decatur, GA

The Core returned to Napoleon's on March 16, 2023, their second show at the venue since December 2022. The seven-piece band drew from a broad repertoire across the night, moving through "Take the Time", "Jimi Thing", "Pleas", "Bittersweet", "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed", and other material, while Kevin Leahy marked his 10th show with the band. The evening saw the group debut "The Same Thing", a Willie Dixon classic they had not tackled before.
