Tribute: A Celebration of The Allman Brothers Band at Visulite Theatre

January 14, 2023 · Charlotte, NC

Tribute: A Celebration of The Allman Brothers Band took the stage at the Visulite Theatre in Charlotte on January 14, 2023, nearly eleven months after their last appearance there. The 29-song set drew deep into the Allman Brothers catalogue, opening with "Revival" and ranging across "Jessica," "Melissa," "Midnight Rider," "Ramblin' Man," and "Whipping Post," alongside blues standards like T-Bone Walker's "Stormy Monday" and Blind Willie McTell's "Statesboro Blues." The night marked the debut of three songs for the band: "Back Where It All Begins," "Goin' Down," and "Good Clean Fun," expanded the scope of material they had explored in their previous shows.
