The Bitteroots at The Hummingbird
May 12, 2018 · Macon, GA
The Bitteroots played The Hummingbird in Macon on May 12, 2018, their first visit to the venue in six months. The 24-song set opened with the originals "Let's Go" and "French Fries" before moving into covers like "Don't Wanna Fight" and "Hard to Handle", mixing deep cuts from their own catalog such as "Desperate", "Try Me Again", and "October" with material spanning Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean", Led Zeppelin's "Ramble On", and Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run", which marked the 25th time they played that song. The night also marked Laura Dees's 140th show with the band and the live debut of "Who Can It Be Now?", originally by Men at Work.
