The Bitteroots at Buffington's
April 7, 2018 · Milledgeville, GA
The Bitteroots played Buffington's in Milledgeville on April 7, 2018, their first show at the venue in 6 months. The 32-song set spanned their originals and covers, opening with "Cissy Strut" (their 25th time playing it) and running through "Memo," "Hang Loose," "Souvenirs," and deeper cuts like "Gardening at Night" and "Hard to Handle" before closing with "Sinnin'." The night marked PJ Poellnitz's debut with the band and Bill Taylor's 150th show with them. "Are You Gonna Go My Way" made its first appearance in the band's live repertoire, while "Rebel Yell" resurfaced after 17 months away and "Cissy Strut" returned after 12 months unplayed.
