The Bitteroots at Eddie's Attic
July 28, 2017 · Decatur, GA
The Bitteroots played Eddie's Attic in Decatur on July 28, 2017, their first show at the venue in two months. The nine-piece band debuted Kate Coleman and Brit La Palm, and worked through an eleven-song set built largely from originals: "French Fries", "Memo", "Under the Big Sky", "Let's Go", "Desperate", "Try Me Again", "This Town", "Sinnin'", and "Blue". "Blue" resurfaced after sixteen months away, last heard in March 2016, while "Jack Johnson", unplayed for fourteen months since May 2016, also returned to the rotation. They closed with covers of "Jack Johnson" by Sydney Rhame and R.E.M.'s "(Don't Go Back to) Rockville".
