The Bitteroots took the stage at Eddie's Attic on April 30, 2017, for their 140th show, their 16th visit to the Decatur venue in just over two months since their last appearance there in March. The night marked a sweeping debut across six songs, with "It Makes No Difference", "The Weight", "Baby Don't You Do It", "Jokerman", "Make You Feel My Love", and "Mississippi" all played for the first time in the band's history, drawing from The Band, Marvin Gaye, and Bob Dylan. Laura Dees reached her 125th show with the group, and "All Along the Watchtower" returned after an absence of over eight years, its last outing in November 2008.
