The Bitteroots at Sweetwater Bar & Grill

June 28, 2014 · Duluth, GA

The Bitteroots played their first-ever show at Sweetwater Bar & Grill in Duluth on June 28, 2014, headlining over support from Nine Times Blue and Jackwagon. The 13-song set mixed their own material with carefully chosen covers, opening with "This Town" and "Desperate" before moving through "Try Me Again", "Rush Me", and others, including the Tedeschi Trucks Band's "Midnight in Harlem" and Derek and the Dominos' "Why Does Love Got to Be So Sad?". Kyle Bryant marked his 20th show with the band, while "Honeysuckle Blue", a Drivin' n' Cryin' cover, made its debut in the band's repertoire. The night closed with "French Fries".
