The Bitteroots at Eddie's Attic
May 17, 2014 · Decatur, GA
The Bitteroots headlined at Eddie's Attic in Decatur on May 17, 2014, returning to the venue for the first time in four months. The 21-song set opened with "Defenseless" and drew heavily from the band's catalog of originals, including "Turn It All Around", "Clearly", and "October", which had not been played in 20 months. Bill Taylor appeared for his 80th show with the band, while the lineup also featured Derron Nuhfer, Kyle Bryant, Mike Davis, and Laura Dees, joined by guests Michael Koetter, Andy Rogers, Rhonda Wade, Mark van Allen, and Dan Shockley. The evening wove in covers including Dolly Parton's "Jolene", The Beatles' "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", and "Whipping Post" by The Allman Brothers Band, closing with the original "Crazy Wicked".
