The Bitteroots at Red Clay Theatre
December 13, 2013 · Duluth, GA
The Bitteroots headlined Red Clay Theatre in Duluth on December 13, 2013, returning to the venue for the second time in 11 months. The 16-song set drew heavily from the band's catalog, opening with "Defenseless" and moving through originals including "Memo," "Desperate," "Needles and Bottles," and "Turn It All Around" before closing with a cover of Derek and the Dominos' "Why Does Love Got to Be So Sad?", which marked the first time the band had played that song. The night marked Derron Nuhfer's debut with the band and Bill Taylor's 70th show in the lineup, while "Crazy Wicked" reached its 25th performance.
