The Bitteroots at Eddie's Attic

December 14, 2012 · Decatur, GA

The Bitteroots played Eddie's Attic in Decatur on December 14, 2012, a return visit after five months away. Mark van Allen and Kristen Englenz made their debuts with the band that night. The twenty-three-song set drew largely from their own catalog, opening with "Rush Me" and "Memo" before moving through originals like "Splitsville," "Carol Ann," and "This Town," alongside covers of "Rolling in the Deep" by Adele, Dolly Parton's "Jolene," John Mayer's "Gravity" (unplayed in 42 months since June 2009), and John Prine's "Angel From Montgomery."
