The Bitteroots at The Five Spot
November 17, 2012 · Atlanta, GA
The Bitteroots headlined The Five Spot on November 17, 2012, returning to the venue for the first time in 8 months. The band, with Mike Davis, Laura Dees, Dan Shockley, and Bill Taylor, played a set heavy with originals, opening with "This Town" and moving through "Rush Me," "Memo," "Desperate," and "Pete" before reaching the milestone of the 25th performance of "Rush Me." The set ranged across "The Man," "Temptation," "Crazy Wicked," and "Needles and Bottles," with a cover of Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" breaking up the run of originals near the evening's end.
