April 23, 2011 · Atlanta, GA
The Bitteroots took the stage at Sweetwater Brewing Company on April 23, 2011, marking their first show at the venue. The twenty-four-song set mixed originals like "Cataclysm," "Blue," "Clearly," and "Text Me" with covers spanning decades and styles, from Duran Duran's "Hungry Like the Wolf" and David Bowie's ""Heroes"" to Aretha Franklin's "Think" and The Allman Brothers Band's "Whipping Post." Two of the night's songs marked firsts for the band: Led Zeppelin's "Ramble On" and Bowie's ""Heroes"," both receiving their debut performances.
