The Bitteroots at Lake Claire Amphitheater
April 26, 2009 · Atlanta, GA
The Bitteroots played their first-ever show in Atlanta on April 26, 2009, taking the stage at Lake Claire Amphitheater for the first time. The fourteen-song set ranged across covers by Maroon 5, R.E.M., Led Zeppelin, The Allman Brothers Band, and others, anchored by originals "French Fries", "Dan da Man's Damn Jam", and "Life Is a Highway", all three making their debut that night. From "Harder to Breathe" and "The One I Love" through "Whipping Post", "You Oughta Know", and closing with "Immigrant Song", the band drew on a broad catalog of material across rock, soul, and blues.
