Artist management
Boutique management and booking for working bands that deserve a working manager.
The best managers are musicians who've actually done the work.
Bill Taylor spent decades on the road as a working bassist before formalizing what he'd been doing informally for years — developing artists, building itineraries, and navigating the business of live music from the inside out. He's guided over a dozen acts through different stages of their careers, including a 15-year run with The Bitteroots and an ongoing decade-plus partnership with Allgood Music Company.
Today, Bill keeps his roster intentionally small — three to four projects at any given time — so every artist gets real attention, honest counsel, and a manager who picks up the phone. The through-line across every project is the same: long-term thinking, deep respect for the craft, and a clear-eyed understanding of what it actually takes to make live music work.

Athens, Georgia. Early 1990s. Before "jam band" was a genre, Allgood Music Company was already building the template — relentless touring, set-to-set improvisation, and an audience that kept coming back because every show was different.
Their A&M Records deal and spot on the 1992 H.O.R.D.E. Festival placed them at the center of a scene that would define a generation of live music. Albums like Ride The Bee and Uncommon Goal remain touchstones for anyone who was there.
Bill has worked with Allgood for over a decade, managing booking strategy and long-term positioning as the band continues to perform select, carefully chosen shows.
Managed artist
The Core is a festival-in-miniature — a curated, multi-artist experience built around the H.O.R.D.E. era's most defining catalogs. Not a tribute act, but a revival of the spirit: sprawling sets, deep cuts, and the kind of improvisation that made those original tours feel like genuine events.
Bill manages booking and long-term strategy, placing The Core on outdoor stages and multi-band bills where the format has room to breathe the way it was designed to.
Managed artist
Wolves, Lower focuses on a singular catalog — the early R.E.M. years — and plays it with the restraint and intentionality those recordings deserve. No arena-rock expansiveness. No crowd-pleasing shortcuts. Just the actual dynamics of a band that rewired what guitars, bass, and drums could sound like together.
The project performs select runs rather than continuous touring, which keeps every show feeling like a genuine occasion. Bill oversees all booking and planning with one guiding principle: keep it rare.
